Sam serves as an Associate for FORMATION. He supports the development and acquisitions teams through market research, financial modeling, underwriting, and transaction execution across industrial investments in Texas and the Southwest. His role spans all phases of the investment lifecycle, from opportunity evaluation through due diligence and closing.
Prior to joining FORMATION, he was a Senior Analyst at Stillwater Capital, where he focused on evaluating and underwriting new multifamily, industrial, and mixed-use opportunities across Arizona, Colorado, and Texas, overseeing projects under construction and in lease-up, and supporting debt and equity closings. Prior to Stillwater, Sam worked as an Acquisition Analyst at Ashland Greene Capital where he focused on sourcing and underwriting investment opportunities across Texas. Before Ashland Greene Capital, Sam was a Senior Audit Associate at KPMG in Dallas, TX within the Asset Management group.
Outside of FORMATION, you can find Sam golfing, attending live events, traveling with his wife, and spending time with family and friends. He resides in East Dallas with his wife, Caroline, and their English springer spaniel.
Sam attended Texas Christian University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance and a Master of Accounting. Sam is a licensed CPA in the state of Texas.
