Justin serves as Director, Head of Acquisitions at FORMATION, leading the firm’s sourcing, underwriting, and execution of industrial real estate acquisition opportunities across the Southwest United States.

He brings nearly a decade of institutional real estate experience spanning across acquisitions, developments, and dispositions of industrial, multifamily, retail, office, and mixed-use assets. His experience includes over $5BN of transaction volume. Prior to joining the firm, he served as Vice President at Velocis, where he played a pivotal role in the execution of 16 industrial developments totaling over 8 million square feet and $850 million in total project cost across major U.S. markets. Earlier in his career, Justin held roles at MetLife Investment Management, where he contributed to more than $600 million of equity investments on behalf of institutional clients, and at The Retail Connection, where he deployed over $300 million of private equity capital across retail and mixed-use developments.

Outside of FORMATION, Justin enjoys golfing, winter sports, mountain biking, exploring new places and restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.

Justin holds an MBA in Real Estate from the SMU Cox School of Business and a BBA in Accounting and Finance from Dallas Baptist University, where he was also a collegiate athlete.
