Tyler has been in the commercial real estate industry for 10 years, most recently at CBRE Investment Management as an Acquisitions Associate in their Dallas office. In his role at CBRE Investment Management, Tyler was part of the Southeast Commercial Acquisitions Team where he focused on the acquisition of and investment into existing and ground-up office, retail, life science, medical office, and self-storage assets throughout Texas and the Greater Southeast United States.

During his time at the firm, Tyler invested or committed to invest over $3.2B in projects totaling more than 4.5M SF on behalf of CBRE Investment Management comingled funds and managed separate accounts.

Prior to CBRE Investment Management, Tyler was part of a tenant representation brokerage team at CBRE in Minneapolis assisting primarily larger national clients with their real estate needs.

Outside of his role at Formation, Tyler is active in the greater commercial real estate industry as part of both the local North Texas Chapter of NAIOP as well as being a member of a National NAIOP Developing Leaders Forum. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife and two young children.
