Colton serves as Senior Associate for Formation Interests. His primary responsibilities at the firm include supporting the development and acquisition teams on the market analysis, underwriting, leasing, and disposition of industrial assets.

He previously held the role of Development Associate at Phoenix Property Company, where he was responsible for the underwriting and operational analysis of multifamily and student housing developments across the United States. Prior to Phoenix, Colton worked as a Financial Analyst at Hillwood Investment Properties on their industrial acquisition and development team. He was responsible for lease and pursuit cost approvals, deal underwriting, and fund management across four fund vehicles.

Outside of his role at Formation, Colton is an active member at Watermark Community Church and leads a small group of high-school men. He also enjoys running, skiing, and spending time with his family at their ranch in East Texas.

Colton attended Baylor University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, Real Estate Finance, and Political Science.
